Where to use
So versatile, you can use these solar fairy lights in just about any outdoor space from a large landscaped garden to a small balcony or terrace. The long cable and 100 LED bulbs means you can create your own patterns, draping the fairy lights through tree branches, or attaching them to structures such as a fence or hanging through tree branches.
However you choose to display the lights, they will add a touch of fun and bring illumination and brightness to outdoor areas.
How it works
Solar powered garden lights are becoming increasingly popular as people enjoy the practical advantages and cost benefits of this smart technology.
They use energy from the sun which means you don’t need to plug them in – they simply work independently, needing no power supply. And of course, because the sun’s energy is free, there are no worries about electricity bills, even if you use the lights all year long.
During daylight, the solar panel (supplied with the lights) captures the sun’s energy to charge the batteries. The fairy lights then come on automatically as darkness falls, providing eight hours of brightness before charging again automatically the next day.
The lights look after themselves and once you’ve positioned them and the solar unit, there’s nothing further to do, except enjoy the lights as they will turn on and off automatically. There is, however, a handy manual control if you prefer to choose when the lights are on or off.
The UK might not be famous for its sunny weather but even in deepest winter, these lights will still charge. All our solar powered outdoor lights are made to work with the UK climate – even in cloudy weather.
To install your solar powered fairy lights simply choose a position for the solar panel unit and use the stake mount provided to position into the ground or into a large planter. You’ll find a simple button control, allowing you to turn the light on or off and this also slides to select between the constant or flashing light effect. Then simply hang the fairy lights wherever you want to add a touch of colour and you’re ready to go.
